I was impressed by Salterini’s choreography, which was conveyed through his work samples, and the impact this project would achieve through collaboration and outreach is extensive. Additionally, the cash and in kind investment demonstrates mutual commitment in this project by collaborating artists and partner organizations. One way this initiative could have wider impact would be to discuss in more detail how online platforms could be used to expand outreach beyond the specific region - perhaps enabling some exchange with creators in Italy, and or using it as an educational platform to reach rural areas where inhabitants don't often have the opportunity to access contemporary dance.

The artist statement and project description could be strengthened in the following ways:

Given his background is so informative to his work, his artist statement could be strengthened if he incorporated some discussion / reference to that.

The project description could be elaborated on. He provided good insight into how he will work with the sound designer, and what will shape their contribution. He could provide more detail into why he has selected the scenic and costume designers, such as by explaining what it is about their style that he is interested to draw into  informing the development this piece.  The personal statement about his life, conveys as though it belongs in his artist statement and it’s less clear how this experience will specifically shape the piece he is purposing to develop.
