Don't you hate spell check?  It turns "improv" into "improve," thinking that's an improvement.

The diversity of art forms listed in your synopsis is persuasive.  The acronym EGAD! is attractive.

I get a sense of great possibilities in your mission statement and goals, but I do not get a fully developed picture of how your mission is leading you to your activities.  MORE DETAILS would help -- so would a clearer vision of how you see the arts contributing to "a diverse, vibrant and engaged community where everyone may rekindle their creativity and be themselves."

Thank you for your candor about EGAD's peripheral connection to the Fall events in your calendar.  Is there a way for EGAD to make the arts more central to Brewfest and Vintage Fair?  That could be an opportunity to achieve an impressive fulfillment of your mission.

It's encouraging to see that your First Friday and Bingo programs pay artists to make art.  It's great to see that artistic activity downtown is making merchants happy.  Here's something to think about.  Do you see the arts primarily as a way to increase sales and support property values?  The "Proposal Impact" section of your narrative sounds that way.

The information about a board member passing away is helpful in appreciating your management.  More information about parts of the budget would be useful -- e.g., the $30,000 (nearly 25% of the budget) recorded in line 9 as remaining operating expenses (what are those?) and the $40,000 bump in line 19 recorded as applicant cash (how did that materialize?).

It is good to see 6 art galleries, studios, and museums in your district.  Are they at the heart of the world you want to create?  I don't see them at the heart of this application.  Is there a passion for art driving EGAD -- a vision of what art can, should and does accomplish in Eau Gallie?

E: Objectives lack any measurable specificity; generally lacking definition of scope.

I: Impact area does a good deal of the heavy lifting for this application.

M: Evaluation is underwhelming; sustainability description and planning is limited.

A: Many efforts made but no clear comprehensive plan.

Your BOD list on your website is one of the most charming things I've seen in a long time. Bravo!

Drag Bingo an "art form" ? Well, OK.

Your support materials were good quality, but it would have been beneficial to see them listed as separate documents so we would know, at a glance, that you included an annual report or had received a Main Street award.

Moore Regina - Score: 89.000
I liked seeing your support material packet.
Schlehr Aimee - Score: 89.000
Multi disciplinary indicated applicant should apply in presenting discipline category. Goals, objectives and activities could be stronger. Impact could be strengthened by including impact to the community/participants. Strong accessibility statement.
Winter Pioneer - Score: 96.000
Excellent support document.
