Good partnerships, clear mission, and impressive variety of venues. Wish I had the formal letters of support. Your director, dancers, musicians, and guest artists are strong. With 35 events, I can't help but think that the total number (including artists) is only 1,456. Seems like you should have more attendees. Accessibility is impressive! |

Overall great proposal. While I understand the desire to emphasize the budgetary needs for out-of-state performers, the grant guidelines for folk and traditional arts emphasize a need to focus on a folk group within Florida. This is implicit in your application, but the proposal would be much stronger if you emphasize the tradition and folk group of your local community first and then explain why out-of-state performers are important to support the local community's traditions. Excellent accessibility plan. |
